I have recently posted about the 5th Ave. being wrapped (click to read more-->Louis Vuitton 5th Avenue is being wrapped!?!). Well, here is the update of how it looks like!!

There also will be a bag bar as already seen in some of the botiques, but this is a bit more special as it will include bar stools and an installation of moving display fixtures highlighting different handbag styles.

According to WWD, Louis Vuitton on Fifth Avenue is being wrapped for the holidays by Takashi Murakami.

The French luxury leather goods company is erecting a vinyl installation this weekend that will cover the entire store in Murakami’s iconic Monogram Multicolore print for the house. The installation will begin going up today and will be completed on Sunday.

“The idea to wrap the Fifth Avenue maison in Monogram Multicolore came about earlier this year in an effort to do something truly unique for the holiday season,” said Daniel Lalonde, president and chief executive officer of Louis Vuitton North America.

Big apologize to all readers that I have been away from blogging "again"! I was very busy...Well here I am and ready to bring you updates about Louis Vuitton and fashion ^^While I was updating myself on the Louis Vuitton website, I thought I was away for really long time!!....lol....anyway I was looking at the men's jewelry and found out that there are two new jewelry collection for Mens, Damier Graphite and Bond Street Collections. I am really in LVoe with the Bond Street Collection, the simplicity design and the perforated Monogram flower expecially the bracelet and the ring.

Nokia 8800 - Time For A Review

After using the Nokia 8800 for a week, it is time for me to write a little review about my experience with Nokia 8800. ^^

What I think is good:

Firstly, I must admit that I am attracted to its simple and elegant design. It is luxury and indeed could be one of the new fashion phone icon.

The functions of the phone are user friendly (as like most of other Nokia phones do). The one touch menu button was easy to use and the menu is also easy to navigate. I also note that there will be an “explanation texts” pop up every time when you stay on the functional icons for around 15secs. This is very handy as it explains what the programmes/functions that I am going to select do.

The phone also comes with 4GB internal memory, which means there are enough spaces to store musics and pics. Moreover, the sound quality from the speaker is really clear and surrounded.

What I think is bad:
Although the phone was great in design as well as easy to use, there are few down sides. The main downside is the price tag that is set at AUD 2000 without contract. It is just too expensive for what it can offer. To be honest, you can get some other mobile phone with similar features at a lower price.

The camera is another downside, although it is a 3.2 megapixel camera and has a good zoom function but the quality of taken pics are not as good as it should be. The pics seem to be redish and not true colour (if you know what I mean^^)

When I played the video clip, I also have noticed that the phone could not keep up with its speed but this is only happened when I tried to do something else while the video was playing.

Another downside that is very minor but I would love to add is that the material is very prone to fingerprints! I personally do not like as it hides the elegant look of the phone.

Well, what can I say is that the phone is definitely great in design and would definitely be a great elegant piece to add to your hi-tech luxury life^^. But for people (including me) who are seeking to have lots of features and a good camera, this may not be the one.

Monogram Exotics!

The Monogram Mirage collection was actually from Fall/Winter 2007 Collection. Louis Vuitton has now "re-created" this in to exotic versions.

Both Griet and Delft come in soft material and trimmed with 4 layers of exotic skins, including alligator, 2 versions of watersnake and ostrich.

What is the price? Well, the word "exotics" with all the materials they use have set a price of Griet at approx AUD13,900 and approx Delft at AUD12,920.

Hi LVoers^^, Just want to update with you guys that after the long wait, Nokia 8800 has finally reached me!!! (after it was held at the custom for one week T_T) I am so excited and cannot wait to explore this luxury stylish phone ^^
To be honest, once I opened the box, it was LVoe at first sight!
Size: It is just right! Not too small, not too bulky.
Weight: It is heavier than I expected but not bad (considering that it is made from titanium and stainless steel).
Look: The design is simple but real elegant. It surely looks much better than the previous 8800. Well, I am really excited but now patiently waiting it to be charged. Will update to u guys more!

Update!: Sofia Coppola X Louis Vuitton

According to the IHT, Sofia Coppola collaboration work with Louis Vuitton is about to launch at the end of December in Japan before they go on sale next spring! The question is what bags are we expecting from her? The bag that we should be expecting from her collaboration work would be one from the pic but in Monogram Canvas and it is called "SC" bag with a price tag of €1,600 (approx. AUD 3100). Another piece is the evening clutch with its pochette containing a mirror, price: €800 (approx. AUD 1550).

WOW with Womworld and Nokia 8800!

I got an email yesterday from Donna of Womworld ( a blog sponsored by Nokia) who is kindly offers me to be one of the people to try out a Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte, a new couture like handset Nokia which are soon to release!

To be honest, I thought the email was a spam but after looking through Womworld and seeing couple of blogs that I LVoe (including Bagaholicboy and Mymanybags), I decided to reply back :) The phone will be sent via DHL Express and returned after a 2 weeks trial period. Now I just couldn't wait to explore this luxury-stlyish Nokia 8800!! Very exciting indeed!^^

Fine Jewerly from Gucci LVoe!

This is my first time I post about Gucci!^^ I also LVoe Gucci but not like addiction level :D. Anyway I found this interesting pieces of fine jewelry, ring and necklace, from Gucci that I am drooling over! They are limited edition that was done to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Gucci shop that has opened in eternal capital Rome.

The jewerly pieces have GG logo embossed on and heart which was hollowed through with the diamond which glitters in between. They come in 18K white gold and pink gold. LVoe GG!^^

Yesterday was the show day and there were (many) bagsss on the show! After seeing the show, I must say that it was one of very interesting collection indeed. MJ has done another great creative and combination of chemicals (if you know what I mean^^), which I think it is LVoe. Sofia Coppola will design a line of handbags and shoes for the house. The products are expected to be sold worldwide and launched in Japan.

Sofia Coppola has experienced in designing before where she launched the Milkfed clothing line in Japan back in 1998! So I guess and hope she would not make us disappointed!

Louis Vuitton is really good at giving us surprises! We definately are excited about this colloboration work!^^

Damier Graphite- Renzo and Jorn are Launched!

Louis Vuitton is now officially launched Damier Graphite Renzo and Jorn after the long wait!

Renzo, a city bag that has similar shape as other Louis Vuitton messenger bags i.e. Monogram Abbesses and Damier Bastille. However, it should be noted that Renzo is narrower than the other two, but still give you enough room to put files and it surely suits everyday use.

Size: 3.5" x 13.4" x 14.5".Jorn, one of the eye candy bag that is nearly identical (in term of its size and its look) to the "limited edition Damier Graphite Porte-document (briefcase) bag".However, Jorn comes with an adjustable shoulder strap and the bag is slightly shorter than the limited edition's. As it comes with a strap, this could give it more pratical to use.

Thank you for your email. It is nice to hear from you! Regarding to your question about Odeon, they are expected to be released in October 2008(estimated to be at the begining of October).
They are surely a nice and LVoely bag and here is the tentative price:

Apparently, GM will be the only size that comes with handles. I hope this gives you some info about Odeon. Are you planing to get one? I would love to hear from you and it would be great if you can share us a pic of your Odeon when you purchased it :)

Louis Vuitton Icare has launched in Europe for quite sometimes and now it is time for Australia! Icare is now launched Australiawide but stock is still very limited. The official Louis Vuitton has now shown up pics and detials of Icare under the luggage visit Louis Vuitton for more detials.

Icare comes in Monogram Canvas and Damier Canvas. Name inspired by Icare, the character in Greek mythology known for his will to get close to the sun by using wings made of wax and feathers. OH MY....What Is This?!?

A week ago, there was a celebreation event for the launch of Damier Graphite in Soho Louis Vuitton store. The function also holded a temporary casino within the store for the guests to enjoy gambling and win prices (yes, LV goodies. I wonder what would it be?).

What is more interesting to me is this Croc bag! To be honest, I have never seen this before and has no information about it. If anyone knows or has info about this, please share with me. I would love to know more! I just LVoe it! Price: US$3,600 (as stated on myfashionlife). Regarding to the price as my LVoely readers mentioned in the comments, I must agree with them that it is no way to be US$3,600. The Neverfull Alligator MM is approx $32,000 and the GM is approx $40,000 which doesn't sound right if this eye candy "Croc" is only $3,600!

Update!: According to Deluxeduck, the true LVoe collector^^, has dropped me a comment that this croc bag is from Men's F/W 2007 collection. It is a Mini Grimaud in "crocodile miel degrade".

Hi everyone! I am back ^^. The trip was awesome but really tried. During the trip, I had some times to walk around the places and took some pics to share with you guys!

Louis Vuitton Monogram Suede Embossed is officially launced!

Louis Vuitton has now officially released Monogram Suede Embossed, Wish and Whisper. They are both from Womens' Fall/Winter 08-09 collection.

Whisper bags come in two colour, Jade and Khol. The suede is embossed with the Monogram pattern with python handles. The white golden brass pieces add additional luxury and chic looking. Whisper does come in PM (12.2" x 9.8" x 7.9") and GM (12.2" x 13" x 3.9") sizes.

Wish bags come in two colour, Khol and Amethyste. Wish is also in suede embossed with the Monogram pattern with python handle, same as Whisper. Wish is smaller and design to be carried on the shoulder. Size: 14.1" x 10.2" x 4.7".

After the new Patch Agendas have released, it is now time for an adorable Mini Pochette Patch Accessories in Monogram Canvas. It is a very cute Pochette with the size of 5.5" x 3.7" x 5.5", which is the same size as Mini Pochette Accessories Trunks & Bags.

The photos are amazing and are definitely eye-catching!

Francisco always travels to Paris few times a year! Yes, he is a really lucky guy! Boîtier pendants: These mechanics –looking metal pendants consist of five pieces of metal producing “Louis” word. Boîtier pendants come into two different shapes, round and rectangle. With round pendant, it will come with a stainless/metal necklace while the rectangular shaped pendant will come with Damier Graphite Canvas cord. Price: AUD 575.

Camera necklace: This is an interesting piece, it features 3 pendants which include little key with “Louis Vuitton” word embossed on the side, the ring and the Monogram with shiny multi-coloured crystal beads. It comes with double necklaces (metal and leather/canvas) which double the special about this necklace. It is surely a very interesting and luxury piece, with the luxury price at AUD 720.

I am in LVoe with all of the three items, but if I have to choose I would go for the first two items (simply because of the price of the Camera necklace that stop me wanting it..lol). And out of chosen two, I cannot make up my mind! It is hard and I hate this feeling. ^ ^

What do you guys think? Feeling LVoe or No no?

The City of Light- Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite

I was looking through the website and have found this amazing "catalogue" on Damier Graphite that I have never seen it before. It is different version from the one we've got it from the botique. The catalogue is called " The City of Light, Openers Mode: Louis Vuitton- Damier Graphite". The photos were taken by the Japanese photographer, Manaka Hiroshi. The photos are amazing and makes me wanting more from Graphite!...lol....Here are the pics (thery are quite alot...Enjoy!^^):

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your email. You are very lucky to own one of the oldest Louis Vuitton trunks. From your description, the trunk was made in theearly times, few years after Louis Vuitton established his first trunkshop. The value of the trunk really depends on many things, namely:when it was made, its condition (exterior, interior and hardware),pattern of the trunk (e.g. Striped, Monogram fabric) and the design ofthe trunk.

To be honest, I am not really a trunk expert as much as other may do,but up to my knowledge and the information that you gave me, I wouldhave to say that the trunk could have a value of anywhere between$10000 to $30,000+. I hope this offers some help to you, Lisa.

Monogram Shimmer was inspired by the powdery colours of make-up. Having a chance to see it in real life, I must say that they are very adorable bags!
