I have came across MergsWorld blog and found his own creative LV-like Monogram pattern. He mentioned about how the big iconic luxury brand names have so much influence to people and how it could be related to religion-like. Here is part of his post: "The monogram is essentially an observation of how some myths can be taken as reality (like religion) and how real life can escalate into myth (like religion!). It is also an experiment into the idea of the mythology behind couture and big fashion labels, handbags and limited edition designs having become a religion in its own right with private shrines dedicated all to their glory! The use of the LV monogram is not only a nod to its iconic image but also a reference to how some people feel when they see this pattern stretched over a piece of luggage or a tiny wallet."
Isn't it interesting?
Thanks to MergsWorld!
I found this quite interesting and would like to share to you guys. Marc has recently designed two nearly identical floral rings, one is for "Marc by Marc Jacobs" and another is for "Marc Jacobs Collection". They both surely look nice but with one difference...price! It is USD32 for Marc by Marc Jacobs (left) and USD907 for Marc Jacobs Collection (right).
