Marc Jacobs has created the Monogram Denim Canvas in 2005.The material is created from a rigorous selection of very high quality cottons, the canvas is meticulously woven on a jacquard loom in order to highlight the Monogram motif. The material is both supple and hard-wearing. To achieve a worn effect, the product is bleached and stonewashed. It is this technique that creates the distinctive vintage look.
