Louis Vuitton has opened its first store in Qatar at the Villagio shopping mall on the 15th May 2008 and will open to public this coming Monday. The store will offer a range of products for both men and womenLouis Vuitton Europe president Jean Marc Gallot was at the opening. Here is what he said to Gulf Times:
“It is natural for Louis Vuitton to open a store in Qatar, which is aiming to become a role model for economic and social transformation in the region,” Louis Vuitton Europe president Jean-Marc Gallot said yesterday.He explained that the store is a very special blend of tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and creativity, history and modernity with a luxurious architectural concept.
The store is based on the concept by architect Peter Marino, which has been carried out globally for the 396 Louis Vuitton stores in 58 countries.
